Bowling at Mel's Lone Star Lanes

One of our favorite family activities is to go bowling and there is new bowling center just north of Round Rock in Georgetown called Mel's Lone Star Lanes.

Rain or shine they are always open and during the summer they offer free passes to students good for one game of bowling plus shoe rental.

We often go bowling have some lunch (they have great food) then head off to the pool.

They also have an arcade and during the afternoon they often turn down the lights for cosmic bowling.

It's a great way to spend an afternoon for a reasonable price.
