Being in West Texas and far from the coast, El Paso has a warm, dry climate.

Winters are mild and dry, but because of El Paso's elevation, snow is a common occurence in winter. Average low tempratures in winter are around 33°F.

El Paso's rainy season, if one can call it a rainy season, is in summer with around 2 inches of rain per month during the summer months, and an average annual rainfall of just under 10 inches.
