Free Web Site Tools

You may use our free web site tools to easily display useful information about Texas on your website!

If you have an iGoogle home page you can add the tools to your home page. If you own a website and would like to display information about Texas on your site, you can add the tool to one or more of your web pages. This offers great additional value to your visitors!

These website tools are Google Gadgets, i.e. they conform to Google's standards for Gadgets and are hosted by Google. This implies reliability. You can be sure that the tool will show up reliably on any of your web pages where you choose to place the tool.

Texas Events

The first of our free website tools is Texas Events. It displays information about upcoming events in several cities in Texas. These are the same events that appear on our Texas Events Calendar. Here is what Texas Events looks like:

To test the tool, select a city from the small drop-down box at the top of the tool. The selected city's upcoming events will then appear below the drop-down-box. Should your visitor require more information about the event they are interested in, there is a link below the events list where they can get more information.

There are two easy ways for you to add this tool to your website:

• For your iGoogle homepage: Click on
• For your website: Go to Add This Gadget where you may customize the tool to fit into your website and get the code to copy & paste onto your web page.

We provide the data that displays in the tool. Whenever we update our Texas events pages, the events data displayed in the Texas Events tool will be updated.
