KARAOKE!

Dallas is home to a very large Korean population. Asians love to karaoke and so do my kids and I.
The Korean Karaoke venues in Dallas have always been very small and cater primarily to Asians. No more!
Family Karaoke off of Royal and 35 has moved into a huge new location. They cater to everybody. They have a good selection of English songs. The Karaoke machines are primarily in Korean, but with a little bit of patience it becomes second nature to use them.
Incidentally, one of the staff mentioned that they are installing supplemental machines that are primarily in English very soon.
They have nice private karaoke rooms available for rent by the hour. They have 3 sizes of rooms, so you can have a few people, or a big party. I was even able to watch my Red Raiders whoop up on UT on one Tv while my kids sang on the other one. You can also have them burn you a CD of your singing in the room for an extra 5 bucks.
We are going back next week because I found out that they are hosting LAN parties for XBOX's and PS3's.
