My favorite place to stay is the South Padre Island Golf resort.

This is a gated community, and the accommodations are deluxe. It is not on the actual island, but it is only about a 10 minute drive.

There is not anywhere on the actual island that you can stay for 100 dollars a night that is even half as nice!
