Painting Ceramics In Port Aransas

Have you ever tried painting ceramics?

There is a ceramic shop right here Port Aransas. You can pick out the piece you want to paint. Paint and brushes are provided free.

They will fire your creation for you and even put a magnet on some pieces at no extra charge.

The ceramic shop, called "Fire It Ceramics", is in a new and much larger building across the street from their old building.

It is a lot of fun and very relaxing, almost therapeutic.

I love it!

This place is awesome!! Every year my family and I have been coming to Port A, we visit the ceramics shop and create a special keepsake of our trip. I have several "works of art" around my kitchen and when I look at them, it always takes me back to all the great times we've had in Port A, spending time together. My daughters are 10 and 4 now and every year, I think we enjoy it a little more than the previous year. As long as this place is "firing", we'll be coming here to create something special!
