The Dutch Kettle diner off Seawall Blvd

by Cheryl
(Dallas, TX USA)

The Dutch Kettle (24hr restaurant/diner) may be old and run down a little, but the food is excellent.

I actually thanked the cook personally for the EXCELLENT lunch that we had!

You can tell that a restaurant is good when water is dripping from the ceiling and instead of customer leaving in a huff in disgust... they move over to another chair and ask for the menu!

I have been there for breakfast and lunch and both times I have left very happy and very full!

I hope it survived Hurricane Ike... it would be sad loss for Galveston if it did not!
