The Faust Hotel

The Faust Hotel is actually a historical landmark and is over 100 years old. It has period furniture and a rich history. Some even say it is haunted!

It is nice and clean, and they have their own micro-brewery and bar in the back of the lobby.

Just walking distance from antique shops, boutiques, and a fabulous coffee house, it is a great location right in the center of old New Braunfels. It is also almost across the street from the oldest bakery in Texas where you can find German treats and breads to eat and bring home.

On the Fourth of July, you can walk to the town center and watch a real, small town parade complete with horseback riders, antique fire engines, and lots of children's groups. Best of all, the hotel is only minutes away from Schlitterbaun and the Guadalupe river.

We have stayed at the Faust many times and have enjoyed our stay in this unique, historic hotel. And no...we have never seen a ghost!
