New Braunfels weather is very similar to San Antonio’s. Sometimes storms can come up fairly fast, and excessive rain can cause some flooding in the area.

New Braunfels has a more continental climate, which means hot summers with the potential for cold winters.
The hottest summer months in New Braunfels are July & August, with average temperatures ranging from 70°F to 95°F. The coldest winter month is January, with average temperatures ranging from 35°F to 62°F.
The wettest months are May & June, with an average rainfall of around 5 inches per month. October sees some rain too, with an average of slightly more than 4¾ inches. The rest of the year is fairly dry, with rainfall typically around 3 inches or below.
